Summer Sing 2024
When:
Monday July 8 - Saturday July 13, 2024
10:00 am - 12:00 noon daily
Who:
Students age 6 to 18 of every experience level and background. There are no fees, tuition or auditions required!
What:
We will meet for 2 hours daily and have fun learning show tunes that we will perform on the final day, July 13th at noon. There will be several solo opportunities. Music will include “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman, “I See the Light” from Tangled, and a Medley of Highlights from Beauty and the Beast.

Ascension Memorial Church , 31 County Street, Ipswich, MA 01938
Why:
First and foremost because singing is uplifting and fun!
Beyond that, choral singing engages students emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually through:
deepening concentration, memory and active listening
practicing goal-setting and discipline through weekly rehearsals
learning and performing as a team
making connections and friendships in the community
experiencing the excitement of performing and the relaxation and joy that singing brings
These skills translate to the classroom and to family life as well.
